DrumPhil: a one-day drumset workshop for high school students DrumPhil is a unique opportunity for students to further their knowledge and skill of drumming while connecting with other drummers from the local community. Students will spend the day at the facilities of the prestigious University of the Arts, located in the heart of the Avenue of the Arts in center city Philadelphia. Sessions throughout the day will include group workshops, individual instruction, a panel discussion on the music business, and drumset trio sessions. The sessions will be led by DrumPhil Pros, such as Marc Dicciani and Rob Brosh (UArts), Dan Monaghan (Temple), Mark Beecher (Drexel), Erik Tribbett (Jill Scott), and Eric Slick (Dr. Dog) At the end of the day, students will perform for family, friends, and the Philly Drum Project community of members.
